Graduates from our Search Engine Marketing Training With An Expert will earn certification in search engine marketing skills from the Academy of Web Specialists^TM. This certification will prove invaluable to you, particularly if you're in the Web development and/or Web marketing business. Competition in Web development and Web marketing is fierce, and people in those fields need every edge over the competition that they can get. Certification will provide that edge.

Past students who didn't complete all requirements and didn't earn certification have been passed over for good jobs simply because they couldn't prove their skills. Had they completed their Web-based training and earned certification, their skills would have been certified in search engine marketing strategies.

The Academy of Web Specialists^TM doesn't "give away" certification. Our students earn it. So, anyone with certification from the Academy has gone through a stringent process in order to become certified.

As a result, our graduates can proudly display a certification seal on their web site as proof of their qualifications and we, of course, are glad to provide recommendations for our graduate students as well.

To earn certification from the Academy for our Search Engine Marketing Training, the following requirements must be met:

• All homework assignments must be completed and turned in by the final deadline of the course;
  
  
• Students are required to review a page of source code and point out what's right and what's wrong with the page;
  
  
• A final exam must be taken and passed with at least 80% accuracy; and
  
  
• Students must participate in our Certification Project, which is outlined below.

Certification Project

In order to earn certification and Continuing Education Units (CEUs), Academy students are required to participate in a certification project. Students are assigned a real-life Web page and asked to offer suggestions for boosting the page's traffic.

Earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from a University

These Academy of Web Specialists^TM search engine courses have been approved for CEUs from The University of Southern Mississippi for an additional fee of $25 per CEU. You can register for the Search Engine Marketing Training through the University or the Academy, but you must make CEU application and payment directly to the University before beginning the SEM Training. Your CEU application and payment, along with successful completion of the course requirements, will enable you to receive a certificate verifying Continuing Education Units* earned from the University.


Certification from the Academy of Web Specialists^TM is given to all graduates of our search engine marketing courses and is covered under the cost of the Search Engine Marketing Training.

*Important Note: If you would like to earn Continuing Education Units, you must register and pay the $25 per CEU fee to USM prior to beginning the Search Engine Marketing Training.
