"The University of Southern Mississippi's Department of Continuing Education and Distributed Learning (CEDL) began working with the Academy of Web Specialists several years ago. After conducting an in-depth critique of their programs, our director agreed to provide Continuing Education Units to those individuals who appropriately applied for them and who successfully completed their training program. Also, their courses were made available to students for non-academic training through our CEDL Web site. During this period, I have worked personally with Robin Nobles of the Academy and I have had communication with students who have taken their training courses. Both areas have been positive. They have participants worldwide and from my observance and communications, they take their work very seriously and foster a concern for their students.
